Nadav Remez is an Israeli guitarist and composer, now based in Boston, MA. Currently attending New England Conservatory, Nadav has recorded and performed throughout the United States and Israel as both a leader and a sideman.

Nadav started playing the guitar at the age of 10, and his first acquaintance with jazz started when he was accepted to the Thelma Yellin High-School of the arts in Givatayim, Israel. After graduating, Nadav continued his music education in Israel at the Rimon school of Jazz & Contemporary music. Nadav received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music. In 2005, he moved to the United States to begin his studies for a bachelors of music degree. There, he studied with some of the greatest jazz musicians, including Joe Lovano, Ralph Peterson, Jamey Haddad, Mark Whitfield and Tim Miller.

In 2007, Nadav was invited to play in the Montreux Gibson Jazz Guitar Competition in Switzerland, where he was selected as a semi-finalist.

In 2008, Nadav began his graduate studies in New England Conservatory in Boston, and is studying with George Garzone, Frank Carlberg, Jerry Bergonzi and Ken Schaphorst.

Since 2002, Nadav has had the honor to be supported by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation.

Nadav has participated in world renowned festivals and events, including the the Montreux Jazz Festival, Nancy Jazz Pulsations, Aspen-Snowmass Jazz Festival, Festival-Israel and the Mitzpe Ramon Jazz Festival. He also appeared on various international radio shows, including BBC Radio Scotland, New England’s WICN, and the Israeli 106FM Kol-HaCampus station, as well as Israeli TV (Channel 1, Channel 2).
